The Governing Body
The work of the Governing Body is to support and provide direction to the school in its efforts to attain the very best education possible for the children in its care. The Governing Body supports and challenges the school to improve standards and is accountable for the performance of the school.

The governors meet the head and staff regularly and make a comprehensive presentation to parents each autumn. They are organised into sub-committees to deal with:-

• Finance
• Curriculum
• Premises & Personnel

Elections are held from amongst the parents when governor vacancies occur, and the Local Authority and Surrey County Council also make appointments of their own. The governors are a professional, dedicated group, who are commended for their helping to provide the very best education for your child.
